This workshop is for anyone curious about the craft behind assisted stretching:
You should be reasonably comfortable working hands-on with another person — throughout the session you'll be both stretching and being stretched.
Real practice. Real partners.
You'll spend most of the session on the table — giving and receiving every stretch, guided hands-on the whole way.
A quick foundation, then straight to the table.
Over two hours of guided practice, because the skill lives in the reps, not the slides.
Three simple principles do the work.
Assisted stretching works with the body, not against it — using movement, breathing and clear communication so the nervous system relaxes and range of motion improves safely.
Dynamic shaking
Gentle oscillations help a guarded muscle relax and let go — lowering tension before we lengthen it.
Joint mobilisation
Guiding the joint gently through its natural range restores smooth, pain-free movement and primes the muscles around it.
Increase range of motion
Easing slowly into a greater, comfortable range — never into pain — and giving the body time to accept the new length.
Relaxed muscles lengthen; tense muscles resist. Your real job is to help your partner relax.
Demonstrated live, then practised on the table.
Every technique is shown up close before you try it — slow, controlled and guided the whole way, so it clicks through your hands, not just your notes.

We screen before every session and work only to the first soft resistance. We stretch to a strong-but-comfortable point on a simple 0–10 scale:
We watch the face and the breath as much as the body — and never stretch into pain.
