What is Oikos Stretch?
Oikos Stretch provides personalised stretching programmes designed to help increase flexibility, enhance performance and ease everyday aches and tension. Our specialists use guided stretches tailored to your needs, alongside a range of complementary hands-on techniques.
Who can benefit from your services?
Our services suit people of all ages and fitness levels — including athletes, office workers, seniors, and anyone looking to improve flexibility and overall well-being.
What can I expect during my first session?
In your first session, we'll assess your flexibility, talk through your goals, and create a stretching plan tailored to you. Sessions come in 30, 60 or 90-minute options, so there's a length to suit your needs and schedule.
What should I wear to my session?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows a full range of motion — athletic wear is ideal. For ladies, a sports bra is highly encouraged so we can work effectively without obstruction.
How should I prepare for a session?
Hydrate well and avoid a heavy meal for at least an hour before your session. Arriving a few minutes early gives us time for a brief assessment.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — we recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time. You can book easily online or contact us directly.
How often should I attend for the best results?
Consistency is key. Regular weekly sessions help improve flexibility, support performance and reduce the likelihood of injury over time. Everyone's needs differ, so we'll suggest a schedule that works for you.
How can I maintain flexibility between sessions?
Little and often works best. Keep up gentle self-stretching, practise good posture, stay hydrated, and add light movement like walking or yoga to keep your muscles active and supple.
Are your services suitable if I have an existing injury?
Often, yes — with the right adjustments. Our trained practitioners can modify stretches to work within your comfort zone. Please tell us about any injuries or conditions before your session, and if you're unsure, check with your doctor first.
Is it normal to feel sore afterwards, and how do I manage it?
A little mild soreness afterwards is normal, as your muscles have been stretched and activated. Staying hydrated, gentle movement, a warm bath, or applying heat or a cold pack to the area can all help you feel better.
When should I seek more specific help?
If you have severe pain, an injury that isn't improving, or need a diagnosis for a chronic condition, please consult a healthcare provider or specialist. Our services are designed to complement medical care — they are not a substitute for the treatment of medical conditions.
Are there conditions you don't work with?
Our services aren't designed to treat serious medical conditions — such as severe musculoskeletal or neurological disorders, acute injuries needing medical intervention, or chronic diseases like arthritis, osteoporosis or fibromyalgia. For these, please seek a medical professional or specialist. We're always happy to work alongside your healthcare providers to support your wellness journey with appropriate stretching.
Do you offer packages?
Yes — we offer a range of multi-session packages for regular clients, which bring the per-session price down. Ask us during your visit or get in touch for the latest details.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the slot to someone else — otherwise a cancellation fee may apply. Please let us know as soon as you can if your plans change.
Still have a question?
We're happy to help — reach out, or book your first session and feel the difference.
